Well, Garold was there with his 914 and my wife Lynne and I both drove ours. This was her first and my second AutoX. Garold beat me 53.270 to 53.293

Fuel pump went out during out 2nd set of runs

I pulled cover (it is by steering rack) and it had power. So I had Lynne crank engine and I gave it a good whack with the ratchet head! it started!

We just left it running, packed up and drove home. Lynne only got 3 runs (says she is first next time )

We had fun, perfect day, good folks and 914 friends

What else could you ask for!

Got you message, gald you made it home safe. Now replace that fuel pump and come back out next Sunday (that's for Lynne)

I will have the results tomorrow for you. I got 2nd in my mix group, I think you were 2nd also for the novice group. I do know this, we BOTH beat the Viper GTS and that is with our Raw times

Yes, but I was second to a Savage (lotus 7 clone) with a blown Alum V6. No novice next week (well Lynne is) Not bad for 2nd autoX
