Here's the scoop:
Zephyr Hats is custom making these for us. They make the NHL and many, many of the high end collegiate hats.

Khaki chino hat
navy embroidery and sandwich bill
velcro back with 914World.com
914 outline with 914 text inside outline on front

We must sell 80 hats to make this happen.

COST:
UNITED STATES
$20 (including shipping to lower 48)
$19 for more than 1 hat (including shipping to lower 48)

International
$16 US each (shipping To Be Determined)

Canadians may want to think about someone there being a distribution point.
The shipping for 1 or 2 hats is $14 and 20 hats is $19.95.

Sean take a few hats and store them away in a warehouse, and sometime in ther distant future you can open the door and voila, the missing hats .
Grill badge, what about a 914 like on the hat and shrink the outline down so it touchs the 9 and the 4 or 914-COM with the outline touching. Make any sense??

the list here isn't exactly correct, some folks have paid with paypal and not listed here, while others have said they will pay.

I don't count any orders until the cash is in hand. There are aboout 10 hats that are to be paid for by checks or m.o.s instead of PP.

I think I'll sell about 5 or 10 at Maumee this weekend. I don't think we'll have a problem meeting 80 in the next 10 days or so.

Thanks for the offer, but it's no big deal (I hope). I think I've got a good system. All items are being shipped Priority Mail. I'm having the mailman deliver the empty boxes here, so all I do is go drop 'em off and pay for shipping which is figured into the price already.

PayPal is a good tool for doing something like this. Far easier than the mug project, where I had 150 mugs, and a stack of checks. The one thing I didn't think about was the 3% or whatever that PayPal takes off the top. Not a big deal for 10 shirts - but it would suck for 100.

P.S. I was amazed. Every single one of the 100+ checks I got for Rennlist mugs (3 years ago) were good. Try doing a mail order project in the general population and get that kind of success rate! Porsche folks are good people!

yeah, that would suck to get bogus checks and try to track them down. What a pain in the ass.

I did figure the 3% into the hats, but not the shirts. I think we'll take a beating on shipping, too.
Who cares though! I just wanted to get that one quickly.

I ended up with 14 orders for the Denim Shirt, which surprises me. Especially on such short notice.

I think the shorter runs are better - keeping a tight timeline on a project certainly makes it easier.

I think I'm at 12 914-6 shirts. That includes mine and one as MUSR door prize.
