914World.com _ 914World Garage _ trans nut torque values and acceptable

Posted by: rhodyguy Sep 21 2005, 12:24 PM

on the gettin' together this am. can't find the torque values for mating the trans to the engine in Painyes. also, the minimum safe distance from the rear side of the throw out bearing arm, to the back of the opening on the trans that it comes out of. if i need to shim the pivot, i want to do it now. not after i have the powerplant installed and find i don't have enough clutch.
