ok, I was confused I guess... I thought we could still have OT threads in the garage, as long as they were clean, and labeled?

sandbox = OT

got it... no problem. beerchug.gif

What exactly constitutes OT enough to go to the sandbox? Personally I think the car related stuff belongs in the garage.. but perhaps that's just because I hear that from my wife occasionally (there are 914 parts on the dining room table right now) biggrin.gif

cleaned. made my point and had a touch of fun. it was NOT my objective to anger anyone.

If all OT is to be in the Sandbox, I think some people will be eliminated from some of the lighter, friendlier OT discussions because they will not venture into the Sandbox in fear of accidentally opening something not to their liking or moral code.

just 'cause it's in the sandbox does not mean it's going to be offensive, just properly use the subject header

some OT "I" think are okay for the garage such as Britt's EE question..however, the post about "2 eyes" or do you wear glasses does not need to be in the garage or what kind of music do listen to....sandbox 'em with the proper headings

I guess I need clarification

simple, use your brain!

OT in the GARAGE:
- keep it somewhat car related (that will include A LOT of the off topic stuff anyways)
- need personal help ? (computer/real estate/dad in the hospital/hurricane/etc.)

everything else goes into the sandbox (yes, that includes your favorite bands/movies/CDs)

good enough? we'll see if that works ...

Let Andy make the rules. You can pick around the edges of em' later biggrin.gif

not to beat it to death...914 content on the front page only. no rules that allow interpretation. i can live with it guys. ot in garage, give the admin team the right to delete and NO SNIVELLING. people will figure it out.

not to beat up on britt, but imho his college major change had no business out front.

Yeah,

I was confused too. I thought OT was okay in the Garage as long as it was labeled proerly and wasn't porn, full of foul langauge, etc. The sandbox seemed like the place for the people that wanna break the rules.

But now we understand.

SirAndy... can you nail the Rules? Like you did in the Sandbox. That way it doesn't get lost. Or if someone has been a way for several weeks and comes back, they can't say they didn't know.

Thanks,

Qarl

I am looking to purchase a home in the New Orleans area. Does anyone have a complete deck of cards I can use?
