914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Cross bar linkage

Posted by: jr91472 Oct 5 2005, 02:49 PM

I decided to start fresh with a new linkage setup for when I install my dells this winter. Any recommendations out there?

I here Triad is the best, but expensive. CB Performance has a aluminum set, and Aircooled's looks to be steel. I am a total newb here confused24.gif

thanks in advance.....

oh and GO STARS!!! aktion035.gif

My recommendations is CB Performance.

Here's the link to their cross bar linkage I would recommend:

BTW, I don't know if this will fit your dells, but it was a great fit for my weber 40's.

If you have to go with carbs....

Get the tall manifolds. They are worth the extra money.

You will have to fabricate a throttle cable bracket. I can make a suggestion on how.

I don't know about that self adjusting part. If that is true then why do I always have to mess with them to get it right?

And Rob's part was easy. just put it back on like I left it. biggrin.gif

I have heard of these....what is the benefit?

And along those lines, how tall of air filters can I use and still keep the rain tray?

My filters are about 3" tall (with tall manifolds), and I can fit my rain tray over them no problem.

But I always run my GT lid. rolleyes.gif

get a triad and don't worry about having to make a throttle cable bracket. really, spring for the triad.
