Our old Sears dryer gave up after nearly 20 years of use with 4 girls and all. When looking for new ones this one could not be passed up. I hung the driving suit up and put the helmet in an wow, no more funny smelling helmet!!!

I've seen those, but didn't think I (we) really had a use for one.
Guess I was wrong. Good idea!
OTOH, I saw a helmet dryer at OG Racing for about $100. I usually just leave it in the sun for a day.
I don't have a driving helmet, but I would think you could use one of the small dryers that are made to dry ski boots. These are basically a fan with ducting and a small resistance heater. Besides giving you a dry comfortable boot in the morning, it reduces odor buildup due to moisture.
