ok, is 85 bucks a good deal for rear five lug hubs??? It says "drilled for the 130MM 5 bolt wheel pattern". What else would i need, to do the five lug conversion on the rear?? the front seems pretty straight forward. Thanks!
IMO $85 is a reasonable price for drilled 5-bolt rears. Some will say they should be redrilled EARLY hubs, but personally I think either are just fine.
You'll also need new bearings, studs, lug nuts and /6 rear rotors.
I need a source for rear five lug rotors. Mine are getting down to the point they can no longer be "turned."
Are new units available? Where? Thanks
Are the 914-6 and the 911 rotors the same? Anyone with a part number?

If you think $85 is good how about $50.
Check my classified post out. They are the later hubs

Very early 911 rotors (68-69 ?) are non-vented and in most cases will fit, but not always, I'm told. It seems the diameter varies and may be too large. I have a pair I'm going to try on my rear conversion before I spring for the 914-6 versions.
$85 will the tip of the iceberg on your 5 lug conversion. Figure on at least $1500 when you refresh everything (rotors, pads, brake hoses, bearings, bushings, etc). You also need to find 5 lug wheels.

The hubs should have studs installed. |
Actually if you are talking about the fronts also $1500 is pretty close.

$1500 ![]() Don't be detered. Complete control arms w/cores from Eric $395 Rotors from Pelican $76.35/each Pads from Pelican $25.45/pair Rear bushing kit $36.60 Total $609.75 You could spend more, but I think this is a pretty good ballpark. Finding a set of 5 lug wheels. Well that is up to you, but cookie cutters are a cheap option for under $100/each. Shop around and you can do better than this. Just my $0.02 |
come on now the 1500 includes plating with gold....but seriously you could buy early 911 hubs with that kinda pricing....I have a set but i am not selling mine...nope
