It appears that my backfire problems are due primarily to a worn-out, rusty muffler. [At least that's my latest theory.] I have a 74 2.0 liter in a 72 body. Any advice or recommendations on mufflers? Thanks

Get a Bursch Exhaust. Its lighter, adds HP, and sounds better.
