tie rod
then what's a turbo tie rod?
When I read the title of your thread, I thought maybe someone had "tagged" yours, too.
KT
The other end (not pictured) of the tie rod is a rubber piece on stock tie rods, turbo tie rods have a ball joint. Metal on metal means more solid feel but more "road noise"/etc.
If you look under the rubber bellows close to the steering rack you will see a rubber U joint.
Turbo tie rods come with a tie rod assembly and a ball joint instead of the rubber U joint.
Well the turbo tie rods have a compressor that increases the amount of turning power the more you turn it... the n/a' like yours pictured, clearly dont...
hehe, jk
Lets get this right, you can turbo a tie rod but not a 914.
