Yep, they swapped the vins.
Its either a 75 or 76.
Nobody in there right mind would swap the front and rear clips to get the bumper shock mountings from a 75 or 76.
They also didn't make a 1.8 motor in 71.
I would ask to see a picture of the chassis stamping in the trunk on the passenger side.
I live in Laguna Niguel.
I think I have seen that car around.

A: yes you are correct this car is a true 1975 with a 1.8 motor the car was salvadge it was changed at some time. thanks Mike "
