Thanks Aaron, but its a guy I have be doing business with for the last few years. Plus, its a small wedding, so it will be hard to skip out. Plus + Plus the wife is all fired up that we have a sitter and all. We don't get out together much alone with 3 kids under the age of 6.
I'll catch up with you guys soon, I promise.

Ah, NUTS, I guess Jerad has that one all sewed up!
We thought we would stop by (since we are "in the neighborhood") and say hello.
We are then gonna go on to John Rogers place near San Diego and pick up FI parts for Teddy's car, then on back home.
I won't be bringing the chairs I normally have in the rear trunk as I am reserving all cargo room for the 'teener parts.
As a matter of fact, we are gonna run nearly empty.
I will post here tomorrow as we leave, so that, in the event we should not make it, a search party can be immediately launched.

Keep up the good work! i had to leave early to avoid traffic and get to work @ 5:30, but just my luck i didnt encounter any traffic and got back to Alhambra in less than 35mins. Yeah, that would be my dad's car. We just got back a few minutes ago--a round trip to from Phoenix, Arizona to Huntington Beach, California in 17 hours! Whooooh!
'Twas definitely fun, and those steaks Joe cooked up were delicious!
Oh, and now I have some fuel injection to play with over Christmas break! Whoooh!

My boy musta' been asleep, it was Phoenix-Blythe-Indio-Banning-Temecula
-Huntington Beach-steak and a soda-San Juan Capistrano-San Diego-Chula Vista-load parts-Alpine-Yuma-Gila Bend-Phoenix- Thanks Joe, I had not eaten all day when we rolled up on you and lunch was ready when we arrived!
When you are in Phoenix, I will return the favor.
It was like "ninefourteenland" at your place there.
Ron, Bill's tin made it fine, but just east of Yuma the Border Patrol guys thought it was a little odd that I rolled up to the checkpoint with my rear trunk four inches ajar and a bit of blanket hanging out.....

It was great to see some old friends and make some new ones.
It was definitely worth the drive to hang out with the SoCal contingent for the day.

Those Headlights are Cibie "bobi" I think the name was, they are a street legal H4.
I had a set of them on one of my 911s years ago. I dont know if they are still available

"bobi" = bottle in bottle.. or something to that effect
In the late 70's USDOT required Sealed Beam headlamps. and regular european H4s were open where you inserted the bulb. The bobi was a seled unit with good optics, which took a H4 bulb.
I just looked in my shed and I only have the Hella non-DOT legal headlamps left. I think I gave the Cibies to an Ex-GF, she had a 2002Tii (which I bought for her, young and stupid LOL) and put the lamps in that when my 911 was down.

I am really sorry I couldnt make it. Passed out Friday night with the stomach flu. Feel much better today but didnt come to the BBQ because nobody should have to deal with this. I must have got it from someone. Next time I will be there though. Glad you all had a good time.

Man, What a great day we all had! It was long for some and longer for others. the meal (s) we had rocked to the max. Joe, you trully are incredible and edible.
