So...we've got the welding just about done and are prepping the car for some chemicals. The question at the moment is which first. Do we seam seal the welds and then POR 15 the rest of the metal, or POR 15 everything and then seam seal over the POR 15? If we POR 15 first do we need the seam sealer at all?
My understanding of POR 15 is that it is pretty bomber and you would not need anything underneath it? But then why the seam sealer? So you can see my Joseph Helleresque dilema....
Please help...

I would personally just use the POR.
If you are going to use seam sealer though, I don't know if the POR will stick to it because it really only likes sticking to rough metal
My opinion: POR-15 on metal, not over the top of seam sealer. I go to great pains to get RID of seam sealer with a wire wheel, then get a good coat of rust-proof paint on the clean or treated metal (POR-15, Hammerite, etc.).
No seam sealer.
