I have a line on a 1970 911 roller (read real cheap) that I just can't pass up So what parts are common between this 911 and any 914/4 or /6? I know the front suspension is a bolt on to a 914 anything else?
Now the roller is just that, no motor, trans, glass, most of the interior is gone.
hood badge?
5 lug and vented front brakes?
Wiring harness for spare correct colored wire and switches connectors.
Good fenders are good for resale as is anything else left over.
still a 901 tranny isn't it?
gauges swap over
wheels swap over
Engine lid latch is the same
Front a-arms are 914.
The early 901 trans is desireable for some 6 converters, but you have to flip the ring and pinion. IIRC vintage racers may also be interested in the trans.
without the trans.... (some gud gears....)
its just a 911 front end with a whole lotta crap that ya gotta throw away later....
911 emergency/parking brake assembly, vented rotors and larger rear calipers.
The rear hubs are good for 5 bolt rear conversion if you use 6 stub axels. The relay board has a round unavailable tach balast for the 6 relay board. The 3 pin cdi box if it is any good works for 6's.
