Outstanding Garold! Nice job. I like the way you aligned them with the headlights.
i like it!
now, if i could find that picture again with the 3 stripes and the 914 numbers on the front hood, now *that* was schweet ...
Andy
I'm on the fence... sorry... I thought the car was beautiful before.. I'll get back to you when I decide if I like it
I like it!
Good pics, too.
Looking foward to the action shots from next year's AX season.

Cool, I like how they libe up with the taillights too.
What's with the mismatched plates? That'd get you pulled over SOOOOO fast in CA.
nice Garold! so... no paint this year?
Get your suspension put on / in?

Don't do the stripes in paint! Do them in vinyl. Should be a fairly easy install, and it's much less complicated if you ever have to re-paint part of the car. Plus you can "refresh" the stripes (or change your mind about them) at any time.

sure answer that guy but not me

Your wish is granted, Sir Andy... |
Which is faster: An orange car with stripes or a yellow one?

there was also one where the stripes were wider and filled out the whole space between the headlights ... |

my opinion - don't do this I think it would look "too fat" (hard to express in a foreign language  ) |
Those hood decal numbers looks like the font that was used in the '70 movie "Rollerball" with James Caan.
Very cool at the time.

Where did you go about getting the vinyl for this?
Stripes look great BTW!
I went to a local sign shop here. Got a roll of 16 inch black vynil and a little instruction on what to do. Got home and turned up the heat in the garage to 75 let the car body get warm and just went for it. It took a little over an hour to do.
Looks great, Garold! Ought to chop at least a second off your AX times.
BTW, your t-shirt went out in the mail today and if your mom's up to it I'd like to get a service cover. After the hospital stay I figured - what the Hell am I saving for - and ordered one of Jake's engine kits. My kid's getting too good with his Miata and ole Dad's going to need a little extra hp to keep ahead of him.
Thanks Bill. Glad your still with us. A Raby kit that should be fun. If you are down this way give me a call and we can get some
I actually like it better with the middle of the rear blacked out

Those stripes look very cool. Nice work.
BTW: what's all that white stuff on the ground in the background?
Bill's kit is almost ready to ship!
Kewl!
Nice G!
Curious...How do you get away with different front & back license plates?

Hi Where did you get the Porsche 70 decals ? I think they look great and I could use them to hide a paint flaw on my drivers door. Thanks Paul F. |
