I met Meng while he was visiting California at the Ventura GAF. He later attended one of Joe Sharp's great BAr-B Ques and picked up a handfull of parts to take back to Singapore. Seems lke Meng is the only 914 owner there.
Here are shot shot he sent us of the Porsche clubs Sunday drive to Malasia...hope to see Meng again in Cal.

Super nice guy, too. Couldn't believe so many 914's in one place.
Meng,
Next year the Ventura GAF is going to feature the 914; any chances of you showing your car in Ventura ?
Thanks for the compliments.
My 914-6 is one of 2 in Singapore, and is a right-hand drive. It started life as a 914-4 manufactured in 1970, and was subsequently converted to a 914-6 with flared arches to emulate the GT look, and imported into Singapore in 1978.
I bought the car 6 months ago to complement the 964 cabriolet I already have and thoroughly enjoy. The 914-6 handles quite differently with its mid-engine setup, and I do use both cars for drives into Malaysia every Sunday morning with friends to find interesting breakfast places, as the pictures show.
If ever any 914 Club members are in Singapore for a visit, do contact me and I would offer my passenger seat for a fun outing into Malaysia. In fact, last week, we hosted 8 Porsches from Hong Kong for a one-week driving tour of Malaysia, so you can tell we are quite a group of driving enthusiasts.
Happy Holidays!
Meng from Singapore.
Ming: Its good to see you posting. Happy Holidays to you and Faye. I had them at my house several times (mouching parts). Speaking of which Ming needs a 250 KPH elictric speedo.

That kicks Ars! Sweet ride or should I say rides. That is great to see. Thank you for posting!
