Beautiful...
So peaceful. When I lived in Colorado, I enjoyed evening walks so quiet... Everything seemed so clean..
Wow. That couldn't be more different than where I live! Looks beautiful.

Andy, Wait until Monday the 26th in the afternoon. Then head up I80 to Donner Pass. You will be in the snow
Great pictures, Gustl. Truly a winter wonderland!

Gustl, as always thanks for the pictures. Beautiful!
BTW you asked about the family. I found out my wife's maternal grandparents were born in Graz.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Do you live in a post card studio?
That's my favorite kind of snow

I was raised in Alaska and some of my fondest memories involve walks in fresh snow where you hear the crunch of the snow beneath your feet and not much else...it can be so still....ahh the memories of winter that we never have here in SF....Gustl you live in a very beautiful area. We may be in Germany for Christmas next year. My daughter in law and son are going to spend Christmas with her "host family" when she was an exchange student in high school and we have also been invited...it's a small town in the mountains that is known for their wood carving....
