I picked up Sherryl at the airport in SF @ 4pm on Sunday from her trip to London.....she had a few pains and wanted to stop off at the Walnut Creek hospital.
At 1st they just dismissed it as normal pregnacy stuff and figured they'd admit her for a 24 hours to play it safe...well at 7pm they checked her out and she was dialated to 2cm....the shots they gave to relax and ease the pain didn't do too much and at 9pm, they checked her again and she was fully dialated to 10cm...off to have an emergancy cecerian(sp??)...
Jan. 1 2006 was a great day for Sherryl and I, we have been blessed with twin girls on this day.
9:11[\i] pm for Taylor Michael Mueller (2 pounds, 6 ounces, 15 inches long) and at [i]9:12 pm Kennady Christine Mueller (2 pounds, 3 ounces, 15 inches long)
both girls are doing fine, however they are 2 1/2 months too early so they will be staying in the hospital for at least 2 months
sherryl is doing fine except that she has a cold so she has only been able to see her babies once, we expect her to get released on Wed or thur. , I on the other hand go visit them every few hours, it's hard not to bust out in tears holding thier little hands and hearing them cry...I have been at the hospital since Sunday and I just came home for a few hours...I will attempt to go to work later this week, but belive me, my hours there will be very limited.
Mike,
I'm so happy for you.
congratulation and please share my warmest wishes with Sherryl!

I *just* read your blog. Mike, I'm so happy for you and Sherryl!!! What hospital are you guys living at nowadays?
Have you got colors picked out yet for the girls? It's club tradition that I knit little baby blankets for them (ask Britain). Ask mommy what color she'd like.
What a wonderful new year present!!!

Mike, you may want to start building their 914s now. That way the cars may be ready for the girl's 16th birthday. *ducks to avoid Mike's roundhouse punch*

Congrats Mike,
Take it from a Daddy of 2 gals...
This is proof that God is a woman and she just got started paying you back for all those things you did while dating other Daddy's daughters

Let me know if Angel and I can do anything for you!
Be sure to get the colors to Jenny...she makes some kick ass blankets...Bryson loves his!

Congratulations Mike!!
All I can say is wow, best of luck..do I feel a diaper fund thread starting.
Wow Mike, that's great.
Congrats my friend. 3 daughters here, all Daddy's girls. It is amazing after you've been a parent for a couple years to look back and see how dramatically your life has changed from B.K. (Before Kids), but you never really noticed the changes along the way. BTW, I wouldn't trade one second of it.
Our youngest spent a couple weeks in the NICU when she was born. Having to leave her there every night was torture, but the joy of bringing her home made it all disappear. Remember that on those tough walks to the parking lot. I promise it is true.
Lastly, after my paralegal tracked down all the statutes involved, I have some ideas to kick around with you on your other MUCH less important deal. It can wait a week or two though. I'll be in touch.
Chris

Kinda nice how in looking at them, all your troubles just wash away.....
Best wishes to mom.
My wife's an HR/Benefits consultant and understands most of all the mazes involved with benefits and coverages.. shoot us any questions if you need help in the future.

Congratulation!!! Finally a project you started is done!!
Now the real fun begins.......take lots of pics for us.
Congrats!!!!
Glad to hear that they are doing fine.
May I make a suggestion...... Get a really good charcoal filter paint mask. It will filter out the smell while changing diapers. That was the only way I could handle changing a diaper. (No kids, but lots of nieces and nephews).
Also, those girls are going to have a whole bunch of "aunts" and "uncles" watching out for them over the years. When they start dating, the guys are going to HATE the sight of a 914 behind them!!!
Good Job Mike & Sherryl
A happy new Years Gift!
Mike, Sherryl,
Cute kids, they definitely look like keepers..
Bet they will be an experience in sleep deprivation...
Getcher wife to breast feed. Pump them full of good nutrients and antibodies and things to make them big and healthy. If you do the poo smells good.... (unlike formula)
Not only that, YOU get to sleep while mom feeds them...
Need any help/advice on breast feeding and I will get my wifey the LLL expert... Me, I only know that one breast is vanilla and one is chocolate....
Ken
Congrats Mike, good things still come in PAIRS .
Hey it's not too early to be looking for twin 914s for your girls !!
Happy New Year too !
Marty
Congrats Mueller and Sherryl!
My youngest son was born very early so the photos you sent look very familiar. He's healthy, hyper 13 year old now.
Congratulations and all our best to you and your family.

Best wishes from the East Coast !!!
Lauren and I have 3 girls. Man, you thought the teener was a wild ride... My youngest is in Key West on college break, broke, drunk and calling me for more money. It never ends. On the bright side, they all think my car is cool.

By the way, I'm not sure if you have met my fiancee Lucinda, but her birthday is Jan.1,too . Maybe someday soon we will make it back up there and meet the NEW Muellers ......................Dad
Damn Mike, now you'll be broke forever! And with no sleep. Congratulations to all 4 of you. You should get to work on the cars for the girls asap....you do have a "track record" after all. maybe we should start a poll on what Mike's next new thread will be about:
- what's the widest tire/wheel combo I can mount to our twin stroler
- ya can't turbo a stroler
- how to install susp.needle bearings on your stroler
- pics of our stroler up on jackstands
Mike and Sheryl, Congratulations. I hope Sheryl and the twins are doing well. My younger two boys are twins. That's William in my avatar. They both helped me look at 914s when I was shopping for this one. Their bed time is 9pm but they are always watching the digital clock for 9:14. They are comical.
advice: take their picture same day, every week. when you see 8 photo's in a two page spread you'll be amazed at the change in two months. My wife put a teddy bear with the boys as a reference mark. We also put different colored braided embroiding thread on their ankles to be sure we didn't mix them up!
They're sweet. Enjoy and get your sleep now!
My Wife and I went to see the TWINS last night. They are so small and beautiful we had a AWESOME Time..
Mike
