914World.com _ 914World Garage _ The Mueller TWINS are here !!!!! 2 girls

Posted by: Mueller Jan 3 2006, 01:59 PM

I picked up Sherryl at the airport in SF @ 4pm on Sunday from her trip to London.....she had a few pains and wanted to stop off at the Walnut Creek hospital.

At 1st they just dismissed it as normal pregnacy stuff and figured they'd admit her for a 24 hours to play it safe...well at 7pm they checked her out and she was dialated to 2cm....the shots they gave to relax and ease the pain didn't do too much and at 9pm, they checked her again and she was fully dialated to 10cm...off to have an emergancy cecerian(sp??)...

boldblue.gif wub.gif wub.gif driving-girl.gif driving-girl.gif

Jan. 1 2006 was a great day for Sherryl and I, we have been blessed with twin girls on this day.

9:11[\i] pm for Taylor Michael Mueller (2 pounds, 6 ounces, 15 inches long) and at [i]9:12 pm Kennady Christine Mueller (2 pounds, 3 ounces, 15 inches long)

both girls are doing fine, however they are 2 1/2 months too early so they will be staying in the hospital for at least 2 months sad.gif

sherryl is doing fine except that she has a cold so she has only been able to see her babies once, we expect her to get released on Wed or thur. headbang.gif , I on the other hand go visit them every few hours, it's hard not to bust out in tears holding thier little hands and hearing them cry...I have been at the hospital since Sunday and I just came home for a few hours...I will attempt to go to work later this week, but belive me, my hours there will be very limited.

Have you got colors picked out yet for the girls? It's club tradition that I knit little baby blankets for them (ask Britain). Ask mommy what color she'd like.

What a wonderful new year present!!!

Our youngest spent a couple weeks in the NICU when she was born. Having to leave her there every night was torture, but the joy of bringing her home made it all disappear. Remember that on those tough walks to the parking lot. I promise it is true.

Lastly, after my paralegal tracked down all the statutes involved, I have some ideas to kick around with you on your other MUCH less important deal. It can wait a week or two though. I'll be in touch.

May I make a suggestion...... Get a really good charcoal filter paint mask. It will filter out the smell while changing diapers. That was the only way I could handle changing a stromberg.gif diaper. (No kids, but lots of nieces and nephews).

Also, those girls are going to have a whole bunch of "aunts" and "uncles" watching out for them over the years. When they start dating, the guys are going to HATE the sight of a 914 behind them!!! biggrin.gif

Getcher wife to breast feed. Pump them full of good nutrients and antibodies and things to make them big and healthy. If you do the poo smells good.... (unlike formula)

Not only that, YOU get to sleep while mom feeds them...

Need any help/advice on breast feeding and I will get my wifey the LLL expert... Me, I only know that one breast is vanilla and one is chocolate....

9:11[\i] pm for Taylor Michael Mueller (2 pounds, 6 ounces, 15 inches long) and at [i]9:12 pm Kennady Christine Mueller (2 pounds, 3 ounces, 15 inches long)

Mike,
So Taylor gets a 911 and Kennady gets a 912. Looks like they couldn't wait 2 minutes to get your 914... laugh.gif

maybe we should start a poll on what Mike's next new thread will be about:

- what's the widest tire/wheel combo I can mount to our twin stroler
- ya can't turbo a stroler
- how to install susp.needle bearings on your stroler
- pics of our stroler up on jackstands

Mike and Sheryl, smilie_pokal.gif Congratulations. I hope Sheryl and the twins are doing well. My younger two boys are twins. That's William in my avatar. They both helped me look at 914s when I was shopping for this one. Their bed time is 9pm but they are always watching the digital clock for 9:14. They are comical.

advice: take their picture same day, every week. when you see 8 photo's in a two page spread you'll be amazed at the change in two months. My wife put a teddy bear with the boys as a reference mark. We also put different colored braided embroiding thread on their ankles to be sure we didn't mix them up!

They're sweet. Enjoy and get your sleep now!
