Nice V-Rod Jim.
Are those one-off pipes. I have not seen those before.
That is one nice Harley.
As in signature, 2 teeners and a 1971 911E targa grey market european import (still has everything in german/metric except the speedometer)
Dan, those are factory pipes. They come on the version of the v-rod called the "night rod" which is new for 2006. That model has the foot controls straight down from the seat versus foward (more comfortable for us dirt and crotch rocket riders).
Jim
p.s. controls are hidden by my legs....it does have forward foot pegs for highway cruising
My own thread.
Very cool. I will have to go take a look at the 2006s. Was thinking about getting a Road King. But that looks more along what I like.
Hijack over.
Here are my two C's, a '65 coupe and a '64 cab.

I was wondering about that statement also.
Is this top secret or is it some old common knowledge?
Is this something we all should be aware of?

I had an early 911 for >10 years and can see myself in some kind of non-914 p-car in the not too distant future. Funds permitting, I am most excited about the Cayman S (or a used GT3) but it will be REALLY tough to justify having two 2-seaters (...kids...), so odds are high it would need to be at least a newer-ish 911 or a Cayenne.
(Actually the Cayenne might even fly as a company car...911 wouldn't...hmmmmmm.)
Other than the newly acquired 914, I also own a
2001 996 C2 Tip that the wifes drives and a
1996 speed yellow C4S that's my pride and joy.
Just sold my 1973.5 911T
leaving in five minutes to pick up my new DD a 1987 944S
The 914 is the only car I have owned for longer than a year...

My Porsche addiction started in 1982 with a 1974 914 2.0 (yellow).
Next up was a '87 black Carrera...
Then a '88 white 930...
Then a '74 track only 914-6... aka...Freckles
Then a '76 914-4 2.0
Then a '74 track only 914-6...aka...The Beast
Then a '75 wide body 914-V8...aka...JLO
Then a '80 track only 911SC with a 3.6...aka...Fritz
wow...lotsa P-car addition here...
Here's the black '87 taildragger...
Bill P.
Attached image(s)
Not enough power...went to a '88 Turbo...
Bill P.
Attached image(s)
then thought the 911 is too nice for the track...so we got a 914 2.0 liter...
Bill P.
Attached image(s)
Then found that the 2.0 liter didn't have enough power...
So we stuffed a 2.7 in the same car...
Bill P.
Attached image(s)
Wanted to stick better in the corners...so we added a wing and more yellow paint..
Bill P.
Attached image(s)
Blew the motor in the old 914-6 so we bough another track car...aka The Beast..
Bill P.
Attached image(s)
Wanted a street 914...so got a '76 2.0.
Bill P.
Attached image(s)
Decided the 2.0 didn't have enough power...so we got JLO for a V8 conversion...
Bill P.
Attached image(s)
After sitting out half of 2004 and all of 2005, we bought another track only car while waiting for the disposition of The Beast.
Here's "Fritz"....

Hi Greg,
Try these two links for cloth patterns. The boys on the board here gave them to me when I was looking for a plaid pattern for some seats.

04 Boxster S. Previously had 66 912, another 70 914-6, 70 911S, 84 944.
Aye...
got the 1975 914 1.8 (1.9 soon)
also the 1988 944 ... later to be bumped to 10.9 CR and a chip (after the bodywork).
Finally... a 1978 924 that ... the salvage yard for some reason hasn't changed over to them???
First one was a Irish Green 67' 911 keep that 6 years
then Grand Prix White 78' 911SC was a everyday driver for 12 years sold it w 145,000 mi.
then the Irish Green 914 1.7 did a Steel GT conversion with 911 suspension 15x8 fuchs on all corners and about to become the clone of the famous EvilEd turbo
when................... I bought Ed's and sold the clone project
Here is the most recent addition to the P-cars in my stable.....
