Come one, come all................. 
February 4th Workshop at my house. If your car needs help getting ready for our May 20th event, or just for spring, plan on bringing it over.
I am clearing out my garage so that we can have 3 cars on jack stands at the same time (if necessary)4 if we get horizontal.........
Food, beer, billiards, and cars...........
it will be a grand ol' time. if the weather is bad, then we will close the garage doors and still be warm............
if we don't finish your job on saturday, feel free to leave it
overnight in the garage, and we will finish on sunday.........

Sounds fun!
Is the Family invited? I won't be bringing the 914 as I'm pulling the trans this weekend, but I may swing by to be social.

minor rebuild I hope, 2nd gear crunch is getting worse. plus I just ordered a rennshift, so I want everything all nice and smooth for this summer.

Yeah, not likely... You see, there's this little person in the house that seems to just soak up all of my free time. It's quite amazing actually... 
I plan to have the car in shape for the La Junta event, if not sooner. But if I were a bettin' man, I'd put money down, with very good odds, on my not having the engine installed by the 4th...

Nope. Got a tow bar though! But it'd be pretty tough to load everything into the wagon, and tow the 914 with axles flopping around....

it's begun.................. 
1 914 on four jackstands in bay #1
1 914 delivered by a AAA tow truck and pushed into bay #2
potatoes are cooked and ready to be warmed for breakfast
hope someone can bring a camera. mine went to cali with the fam 
im thinking all the 914's will be able to fit in the driveway.
forecast is looking good too

I typically just borrow one because it's not a job I do often.
Nobody seems to have one, so it may have to wait. We'll have to see what happens.

Hey Sharon, call the airline and see if you can trade the two one way tickets for a R/T. That way you could fly down and help me by driving one of the cars down to Joe's, about 70 miles. Green one isn't here, so do you prefer red or yellow?

One caveat Howard. I haven't yet taught her the finer nuances of driving a 914. Hope your syncros are in good shape.

I dropped it a couple of inches,thinking I could reach up in there,
But NOOOOOOOOO! what was I thinking!! 
I need to replace the dam oil seal in there,after dicking around for a couple of hours, decide to make a oil seal removal tool

New guy to our local list, Jim. Missing 1/4" off of a valve adjustment screw. The one casualty in 7 yesterday. He said yesterday the car was for sale for $5k. That was before the valve adjuster screw reared it's ugly head. Might be cheaper now.

That's all I have. I didn't realize that I was the only guy with a camera. And I was kinda preoccupied with buying a new 914. Missing are pics of 914s belonging to Steve W. and Brew from the springs. He brought his brother Whalen along with him. I'm trying to sell him the "Budget 914".
