914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Thinking of making another shirt...

Posted by: dlo914 Jan 24 2006, 01:30 AM

I'm thinking of making another shirt. I already have the design, but unsure of what color shirt to use and what color print to use. This shirt will probably the most affordable of the 3 i've designed. I'm trying to sell these shirts in the end for $10 each. But that's later on in the process. Here's the design and a rendering of the original design.

most likely gonna go w/ a black shirt w/ white print. now i just need to contact my new shirt provider and a location for the print to be placed on the shirt. Either a large print on the front only, or a small one front left and large one on the back.

Posted by: dkos Jan 25 2006, 04:14 PM

Great design. I like it on the colored shirts tho...not a big fan of black t-shirts.

I have a slight preference towards the green shirt.
I do not like the reversed 419 on the back. sad.gif Make it say 914.

Hows bout offering it in both green and black?

Posted by: STL914 Feb 2 2006, 09:11 PM

What happened to the design with the flared 914?

Posted by: mikelsr Feb 2 2006, 09:19 PM

I vote for green (like my teener) but make the back say 914 (not 419) and have the car on top of the lettering for 914.

Mike

Posted by: dlo914 Feb 2 2006, 10:41 PM

2nd thought scratch that thought lets just use the flared 914 with the 914 numbering above to the top right of the car. It looks more intimidating wink.gif now GREEN or BLACK? i'll try to see if i could get both colors made but if not i'm going w/ the majority. here's a preview:

Don't like black t-shirts....too "heavy metal" for this old guy. Why does it have to be just one color t-shirt? I'd like green, red, blue, orange...t-shirt to match your car. I think the design on the front needs to be smaller and the one on the back needs to be lower.

Big print on front nothing on back. Gives it a more retro look. Nobody did something dumb like putting the same picture in two different places unitl the mid-nineties.

And I vote for green. I know that guys aren't supposed to be fashion savvy, but green makes for a good accent color. Black matches everything, which makes it "marginal" with whatever, when dark green and khakis would look fantastic.
