I bought these needle thrust bearings for another project and bought too many...soooooo, they just happened to fit on my new Koni's.....
Why you ask?
Well, when the spring compresses it twists, with the bearings, the twisting motion will be easier for the springs.......okay, it's going a little too far, but thought I'd let others see the madness

breakdown of assembly,
these make it really easy to adjust the corner weights while the car is on the scales... no need to take the weight off the corner to turn the adjuster.

For a front coil over conversion, yes, definately
But for the rear? Hmmm... dunno do the springs really rotate that much in the rear?
cheers,
Jeroen
ps. Any chance you're gonna fab some 911 rear spring plate bearings?
The rear shock travel must be what, an inch? And for that you need bearings?
No-entering the overkill zone now.
Paul
you're sick mike......
It will add weight.
