Are there any GOOD front targa top seals out there? PParts has a note on their site which mentions a bad production run on that seal???
I need one BAD.
Cheers
Kerry
I got one from Glenn Sager that is great, no leaks in Seattle.
Geoff
i could use one too, there are a few on ebay, but they seem a bit pricey...
i got mine from partswerks in chicago (ebay)
how does it work? they were the ones i was looking at, seemed a bit high on the price, worth it?
seems to be holding up fine. have hadit for a year. no problems. we got it for 120 i think
He's a SoCal guy, so factor that in.
It doesn't rain from Mid-March to Mid-November there-really!
How is the gap between the front seal and the side targa top seals? Right now I have a 1/4" gap very to add to my water issues.
No Gap but I also have new targa side seals. I have to say installing the front seal is fairly hard. It must stretch some to get to fit right, centered in the frame.
It was a Porsche seal still in a Porsche labeled bag.
Geoff
same here- a porsche part and such. tru, it doesnt rain very much here. no gap between where they butte up against each other. i need to adjust my windows tho.
