Can someone really get $1,500 for http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=269876
Roger
My guess....... No.
Eric
i ask only because a guy offered me his 14" Fuchs for real cheap and, after I said i was looking for wider wheels, I see this ad for $1500...
I couldn't believe it but thought i'd post it to the 914club brain trust first before investing in them.....
dude had 4 14X6 for $350... Didn't sound like a great deal to me...
i dont pay more than 150 for a set of 4 14's......
theyre cheap and useless. unless you want the period correct "comfort option" wheels
My "hemmroid comfort option 14s" will blow the shit outta yer "my car doesnt run 15s".............
Find me a set for $150 and I'll re-stud the trailer 5x130

I would be very interrested about 14" fuchs for 150-200 price range.
Those would be nice for my slammed vw bus.

I was going to do that and then backed out when I started pondering the load rating for a trailer wheel/tire. |
How 'bout fake fuchse... .. .... two dots in the middle are the umlaut for the Resident Kraut..........
or
I have a set of fully polished fuchse .... .. .... but the hole pattern may be Toyota or ? - definitely not Porsche, but 5 lug.

Put'em where they belong damnit or you'll get a black knee-high Sir Armyboot up your arse!
I have eBayed a few setts of 944/911 Fuchs. Price has ranged from $700 to $1,100.

Ut Ohhhh don't piss off Sir Y-M-C A!!
I sold a set a few years ago for $300 and it took a long time to get rid of them. Nobody wanted them. I started trying for $500 and then dropped it to 4 and took 3. I guess they would be good for a bug or something but 14" tires are getting harder to find.
I have a 914-6 and the 14" were an option and I have a 912E which had 14" as an option. Maybe they were STD on the E? My 6 came to me with 15" chrome steel wheels.
I only have one 14" rim but am told they are great for autoX (lower) Al
