914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Floorpan Rust

So i have been working on getting my interior fixed and have found several places where the pans have rusted through. The areas are relatively small and have some pinhole rust. I can always go the welding route, but since the areas are small and if treated propertly with Metal Ready and POR15, I was thinking I could just use some epoxy putty to take care of the problem. There doesn't seem to be any structural damage and the areas are really small.

Does anyone think this is a viable solution?

FYI - POR15 site shows a floorpan restoration kit -
