well, that's good news for a change, i just landed a MAJOR (well for me anyways, a brandname with $$$ to spend) for my car ...

and i'm not even ready to take it to the track yet.

oh my, what's a (wannabe) racer gonna do?

so far, the offer includes:

- paying for the track fees
- paying for food and lodging
- pay for equipment with sponsor logo on it. driving suit, shoes, gloves, helmet etc.
- paying for tires and gas

all i have to do is run the sponsors advertising on the car and allow their "pitgirls" to set up a tent with sponsor marketing material and give-aways as well as "posing" with the pitgirls for magazine ads ...

hell you could buy all that stuff yourself and not have to deal with those annoying girls running around you all the time....

Good luck with it....I personally will stay unattached from the evil corporate sponsors and the silly women in small tight fitting clothing.......

If you don't close the deal tell them they could sponsor a "real" 914 race team on the east coast. (one that gets mucho internet video downloads)

better make sure you read the small print in the contract
before you know it, they'll try to save on the lodging and you end up with all those pitgirls in 1 motelroom...
