Finished my AX trailer setup during lunch today. Got it hooked up and went for a drive around town and it tows real nice
I do have one issue with the trailer lights, they work but are very dim. I thought it might be a grounding issue but when hooked up to my truck they are nice and bright.
Got to see if there is a heavy duty turn signal relay for the 914

How long does it take from start to finish to get it all setup and ready to go?
About 5 min. I will leave the box loaded with jack, tools, other misc AX equipment and I plan to leave the tires on the trailer. The trailer is very well balanced so it is easy to move by myself when loaded.
dude, that looks good!
*I edited your avatar a bit..just resized it for ya*
That looks great. I think I just missed seeing it at Brad's last weekend!
love your license plate n panasports awesome job!
Super job Garold! Looks great
Won't it be hard to AX with the trailer on?
Seriously, nice job.
Dieing to find out how well the car can pull a trailer, Like to and event. What kinda speed can you maintain does the trailer drive the car? and what about stopping...
Please give a us a full report of how it goes.
I forget what wheels did you end up getting for the Hoosiers. can't quite make them out.
Joe, I am using Keizers (sp) rims

Nice setup Garold! One of our DE instructors in CIR has something similar for his 928.
Now we need you to get registered for our "Spring Brake" DE event at Putnam Park
That's what I thought.....
SO how do you fit them big fatty Hoosiers under the fenders?
is you car still at the came ride hieght as in the picture?. Maybe that's the answer.
Nope, it's lowered and counter balanced now The negative 1.5 camber helps, plus fender lips are rolled

Cheater!!!! your tire says HO as in Kumho. I bet you can't do that with a real HO as in HOOSIER.
and what's then funny lines going around the edge of the tread.

Agreed.... Fresh sticky Ho's are the way to go.
But for regional event cheap hos' get more runs per dollar.
I have 67 runs on my Hoosiers they are just about done.
I had 187 runs on my Kumhos and sold them with 2/32" rubber left on them.

looks good.
Love the Cookie cutters on the trailer - excellent.
Nice work Garold.
Don't forget to throw in a spare tire for the trailer somewhere.
You wouldn't want to leave the trailer on the road anywhere, while you had the tire fixed.
Or maybe that instant tire stuff would get you to a repair spot?
