were fuchs orginaly anodized silver with the raised aresa buffed out or what was teh finsh on them?

what about the lug bolts .. were those anodized too or will silver zinc plating work well

I just fgound a guy that can get me smoking deals on anodizing and powder coating so I am making my list

They were originally two tone annodized. All that means (I think) is that the paddles were polished out before annodizing. The inset of the wheels has a machined kind of finish that they just annodized over.

Here's a pic of a Fuch that has been in my trunk for 30 years. 100% original condition.

Silver Zinc Plating is the way to go.

Yep, that's my O'l Yeller; being picked up on Monday by the new owner. The wheels were re-furbished Weidman's Wheels in Oroville. BTW the longer lugs were bought off eBay with the required seat to fit the wheel; you need to be careful there. The original lugs are expensive if you can find them.
