on. i noticed this sat am driving to portland. i wouldn't think that those two items would create such a load that it would slow the engine down. nature of the beast or something to sort out this winter?

Yeah, is does that on the FI cars too!
I've never noticed that on any of the cars I've owned. Maybe it's an (alternator?) ground problem?
