Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that Jake called from the hospital that his dad had a heart attack in the car while Jake was driving him for his check-up, so don't expect any quick answers to your emails or returned phone calls, at least for a few days.

That sucks! I was just talking to his dad on Monday.
Must have been from the recently added responsibility of answering Jake's phones. laugh.gif
But seriously, best wishes for a speedy recovery.

I have seen the video of his Bluebonic Plague, no wonder he had a heart attack ohmy.gif JK.

It is a terrifying thing to be confronted with your own mortality, sometimes even more scary when it is a loved one. My prayers are with the Raby Family.

Thanks guys... I just brought him home from the Hospital a few minutes ago...

Yesterday I was running him down to the V.A. Clinic for a check up when he had a heart attack.. We were in the 912 and with his VERY long history of heart problems were about 50 minutes from the only hospital that can help him at this point.

So I got us there in less than 35 minutes with the tach above 5500 RPM the whole time.. A good work out for a 96,000 mile engine built from used parts.... I got the oil temp to a whopping 260 but still had pressure so I didn't care too much...

This is a "Normal" situation for us with his condition and this time was better than most recent incidents..

Thanks for all the prayers and thoughts guys- they worked!

if there is anything your dads doc's tell you that isn't quite clear, my dad is a cardiologist so he/we can help translate...

Nice, got him to the hospital on time, and beat on that motor a little more, I seem to recall you were going to hammer that 912 until it gave up, just to see how long it kept going.

He will be weak as a kitten, watch him so he doesn't do anything he shouldn't.
