is this the guy who got the car from his uncle or something?

if no one steps up in 2 weeks, i may be in the area
mike,
there are speaker cut-outs in the doors. sure you could live with that?

I can maybe do it if there is no one in Palmdale. Going to rain all weekend here though. Not sure If I can get up there tomorrow maybe Sunday or the following weekend for sure.

Ferg, assume you saw this?
It's just like everybody in CO wants a http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1973-Porsche-914-Restored-Zambezi-Green-2-0-Litre_W0QQitemZ4620680733QQcategoryZ6430QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem green one (914)

I wish I could convince my wife (and myself) that either of those are in my price range. One thing to note on the ebay Zambezi is that it was a 2.0 swapped into a 1.7, so it doesn't have all the default bells and whistles.
Also, the seller notes that it is "a true 914 type PORSCHE rear reflector, not the cut down 911 version". Was there such a thing?
(Where's that "looking around the house for stuff to sell" smiley?)

Any news on the delphi green?
I talked to the seller this week, I'm going to pass, so PPI no longer needed.
My hunt continues.
Ferg
What was wrong with it?
nothing really, but my standards are super high
what I didn't like was, respray was a litte off color
no real engine or trans history.
Ferg.
