okay the piston keeps sticking....very hard to move either way...last time they were out dralf and I saw that some scaling and/or corrosion developed on the piston....and i guess its the same way now....

I am getting a rebuild kit, but do I need to purchase a new caliper piston or can I use the piston i have now and just clean it up?

and i guess the corrosion develops from water getting in there?

if it is just minor, no pitting or deep scratches or corrosion........ i used like 2000 grit sand paper and polished them. and then cleaned them with laquer thinner....

make sure you make a template to align the piston.....

i think its on pelican.
