New 914? I wish!
My German is very bad, but isn't that magazine pretty old? Like 1969
or so? It seems to mention 75 hp and 110 hp midengine? Like the
camping tent idea though!!
Ha ha ha , very funny ... and rare
the aerodynamics of that car must have been about as good as a brick wall....did they really think someone was going to "steal" the design???
well, the X/9 is pretty darn close
Can you read the licence number?
I can see now that our airflow and cooling concerns are unfounded. It seems to survive just fine with two small holes.
those were the original spy photos from the sixties....
That is the only body kit I have ever really cared for.

That ia the Superman body kit.
You drive it in to your garage and rip it off and drive to the races.
Now I understand the stupid vinyl on the targa bar, they simply forgot to remove it!
Michelko or others,
Could you provide a translation of the text here? My German is not
good enough!
#4
Colgan must have been helping with the prototype, though looks as though they have gone a bit overboard.....
That is how they "stole" the #4 car by covering it in all the tenting and going thru the guards saying this is a Skoda!

I do believe that our cooling concerns are still founded. I have had my 914 for 24 years, other than the winter, it runs hot. Do you suppose it is the way I drive it? I did put an on - off switch where my throttle used to be.
boy...camoflaging prototypes has come a long way ove rthe past 30 years. Now they just black out the panels...back then they built a tent ontop of the car!
Now we know where Pontiac got it's motivation for the Aztec!
the ultra rare vw-porsche 914 westphalia
someone at the printing company screwed up big time
first page, first small inset picture is "flipped" ...
unless it's two different cars. look at the position of the windshield wipers and more importantly, that would be the very first 914 with RHD ever made ...
