Anyone know if they hold these event stateside? Or is this just one of those events for Crazy Europeans.

seen it a couple of times, but it's still awesome to watch

I don't think I've seen these events outside of the UK though

I think they have three judges that rate them after a run.
One of the judges is a big dude
One is a former hot pop start
and the last is a honest guy in a black t-shirt. biggrin.gif

I think you meant Pop Tart.

That is awsome! smilie_pokal.gif smilie_pokal.gif

I've seen that type of event on TV before. I think the Brits call it "autotest". The guy I saw was driving a cut down Mini. The thing looked like a short, lowered, front wheel drive jeep. SCCA used to do something similar called a gymkhana, maybe they still do...

Looks like a quick way to powder a 901... driving.gif dry.gif huh.gif ohmy.gif mad.gif headbang.gif

Great video, but check out where the course worker is standing.

I wonder how many they lose each year?

Love that video. I haven't seen it in a while and have been looking for it.

Thanks for posting it.

Is the driver following a programed course or is this all freeform?
