looks like Lambo wheels...

A parts bin car to be sure. And some VW stuff, too biggrin.gif
I think it looks great, about time they started cashing in on the racing $$. IMHO it makes the 997 TT look old and lumpy.

Correct guys, this is a midengined car using the same basic chassis as the Lambo Gallardo. Rumors of a detuned V10 (~450HP) or the RS4s 420HP V8 powering the thing. Also about 100k euros for it...not a bad price. Should give the 911 and Aston V8 a run for their money.

I had read that years ago Audi was to come out with something similar (true sports car) and "supposedly" a family member from Porsche called and talked to one of the lead people of Audi asking not to proceed with such a vehicle since the thought was that it could damage Porsche too badly by directly competing against them.

The Audi would have been less expensive yet equal or better performance wise....
