The weather took a real turn for the worse in my session.
Track conditions between laps got me in turn 10 at Thunderhill.
Did a 180 and went four wheels off up a dirt embankment.
Drove out of it.
I'm done with rain
KT
you can have em both.
but [huhuhuh i said butt] alpha is mine. i might just pimp his ass out for abuse if the mood strikes.
Looks as though everything is still shiney
Just a little mud and a little hurt pride
Uh guys, don't be gay

What does this mean to you? |
Street tires all day?
How about Albert, did he even get out?
Street tires for me all day.
Albert started on slicks and changed over to his Goodyear wets.
He ran his sessions... and others.
I have some video of that.
KT
You're running that six on riviars? I always heard that was a no-no even for AX.
Why, because some people think they are ugalee?
I don't think they break unless you hit potholes or street curbs.
KT
I guess their is a lot of hating on the Rivs, but not from me. My car has them.
Yah, I just thought it was a strenth thing. In fact, my thought is based on that pelican artical http://www.pelicanparts.com/techarticles/914_wheel_types/914_wheel_types.htm Someone should update that a little.
Glad to see your car made it back on the road without any damage to that great new paint.

rich bontempi gave you driving lessons on how to pass half the field in the dirt because they didn't let him by on the paved part ... ask him about that story! and yes, he ended up winning that race ... Andy |
Darn.
I thought that you had finally decided to sell me your fat steelies. Oh well.
You're the first to somehow manage to stuff a Cayenne drivetrain under a 914! Congrats
I hosed about 20#'s of dirt and grass out of the fender wells.
All's well.
KT
petty line through the esses????
glad every thing is good,,,,you'll be finding dirt for weeks!!! ask me how I know!!
