How do you tell ssheat exchangers from the others?

They are not covered in rust.

All the SS HEs I've seen have tabs welded on to mount them to the heads, instead of a cast piece that's on the stock HEs. Might not always be the case, but probably is.

Magnet. The SSI HE's are not magnetic.
