If you have an expensive program and it's PC based is there an interface or conversion program so that it will work on a steenking MAC?

There are a couple programs to create a virtual PC on a MAC. I have an email into my friend that works for Apple to see which is the top one these days. Until then, here's http://www.lismoresystems.com/en/. Or you could try http://www.justfuckinggoogleit.com/

I don't know about free programs, but Virtual PC 7 works great on a mac. You can put any windows operating system you want on it and from my personal experience it works really well on the mac. It's made by microsoft.

Specific program is Flex Pro 7.5. It's a limited run program for graphics and vinyl cutting.

You have the ability to clone a MAC on your PC to run the software.
It's an emulator program.
At least that is what this link says. :-) and says it since 2001.
Take a look and see if is what you want. It's free software.

Let us know if it does as said. I always wanted a MAC but too pricey hardware & software made me a PC clown.
I don't have any good free MAC software is the reason I don't experiment myself.

If you have an Intel processor based Mac you can simply install XP and choose which operating system you want to boot up. More here:

that emulators.com thing most likely wont work, since it only emulates a 68040 or a 68030 processor, we're talking about *OLD* stuff.

If you need a PPC mac (could run OS 9.1) lemme know and i'll ship you one of mine for shipping to borrow for as long as you need.

You're going to want a fairly modern MAC to do VPC along with OSX or better. VPC works, I've used it on my MAC. You will take a performance hit since it by Microsoft.

You want to take a PC program and run it on a mac, right?

sounds like VPC is your best bet. Unless you get a new intel mac.

impossible to run a PC program on a MAC, unless it's written in a interpreted language like JAVA ...

native PC code will *not* work on a MAC. period. never. ever.

however, you can run a PC emulator, such a VPC on the MAC. it will simulate a PC.
but, you will want a fairly powerfull MAC for this as the emulation sucks up loads of CPU power.

and at that point, you gotta ask yourself, why not just bag the PC and schlepp it over to wherever that MAC is residing ...
