Nice Photochopping
Dan, that is a great job.
Back to the original questions, I haven't a clue, but I'd guess it is a European location. A great photo also. Do you have it in higher resolution perchance?

Ostküsteklassiker 2007 @ Gustl's. Registration $3500 including air from JFK. Track fees (Nurburgring) not included, $25 per lap. Who's in?

Hopefully, I'll be moving back there before Xmas........
so all I'll need to pay is the track fees.
Don
@ Howard:

In the picture, a few sixes, one of them a GT. We should be able to figure out which specific one the later is, it has the split colour bumper (black and yellow) and those bumpers were used to diferentiate the cars.

and what wheels are on the GT?
they dont look lik enormal BBS's....
Gustl,
According to the usual sources:
"Lother Stöckl had it on the front of his 914 parts catalogue way back in the late 1980s. That's the only place that I have seen this.
As far as I know Lother still does not have a website - I used to FAX him.
The last contact details I have (not sure if they are correct) are:
Lothar Stöckl
914 Ersatzteile Versand GmbH
Postfach 914
7445 Bempflingen
Germany
The street address was:
Talstrasse 34,
72658 Bempflingen"
Hope that helps,
Richard

I looked closley, I think they may be Porsche fanwheels. Like the kind that the new RS Spyder has on. But Al says that He first saw them in '77 or about then, so it doesn't help place the car. |
