So something is hosed in the poll mechanism. I viewed the
results without submitting a vote. I got a message saying
"thanks for viewing" or some such thing. Then it showed
me the results. (order seems odd, but whatever). Now
when I enter the email thread, it says "you have already
voted" and immediately shows me the results.

I'm sure this is a critical problem that someone must
leap on right a way. Otherwise we'll never settle the
poll question.

I tried to make a new poll about my engine options, and couldn't figure how to put in the choices. It says something about 1 per line, but after putting in multiple lines it says "1 choice is not a poll". what do i need to do?

I met him while on vacation last week. Didn't seem like an asshole. Maybe he was on his best behavior since my wife and daughter were with me.

I think the poll feature is awesome, but not used enough at all. Should be a regular feature with reference to the homepage photo or something. Just an idea.

The Tonka Trucks are tired. It's a sandbox, for playing. Not a catbox for pooping.

On the Poll topic specifically, it seems as though the concensus is a-hole. And considering the regular support shown for the a-hole here, I have to say that the term must be used in endearment.

before anyone gets upset please read the original post date. Brad was the self-proclaimed ASSHOLE because of the whole JD/Rennlist debacle. Back in that day we really layed into each other, but it was all in jest.


Please understand, this is/was all in fun. Brad played along, too.

Don't forget the post I had about poor manners of other racecar drivers in which we decided that every race team needed a DNA or Designated Necessary Asshole. This was the guy most likely to tell it how it is, without tact without diplomacy just in your face "your a screw up" and this is why. Brad chimed in that he was that guy. I agree 100% and could have used such a person this year during the race season. I am too nice, so when a guy slammed my car from behind, I would have sent the DNA over to discuss it. When this FH at NHIS moved into my garage, then told me I would have to find another one, I needed the DNA to settle it with his "boys", jack handle optional. So, this is why I voted Asshole X.

On another note, everyone knows this is tonque and cheek. Brad would give you the shirt off his back, and maybe at times he should'nt, and some of you he really never should have. Just a reminder, if you plan to be a taker, at least find a way to be a giver as well, even if it is in another method than what you received.

That would be me Tom. But it was almost 3 years ago and very shortly after this board started. We had, what, 40 or 100 members at the time? It was a different board with a different personality then. It was purely in jest. Brad and I are and have been friends for quite some time now. And I didn't dredge this thread back up.
