I found the link under 'My Controls' to Purchase Paid Subscriptions.
Can you please give more information about this option.

It's a canned default option included with the latest IPB board software. Don't worry about it.

build in feature of the new BBS software ...

we were going to turn it on on a "per user" base to weed out some of the riffraff and get rich in the process ...
