i finally got the dash lights to work, and guess what?!?! they are very dim!!1 (i knew they would be)
any solutions to this problem? i've heard of changing the voltage, what are some things that work?
thanks all

make sure you're getting 12V to and from the bulbs.

ya, but even all the way turned up, they are pretty dim, anyone know how hard it would be to replace them lights with led's, or any other ideas?
I pulled the light switch on our 1974 and sprayed the internals really heavy with contact cleaner and they got brighter. As noted make sure they have 12 volts at the bulb.
30 year old bulbs don't shine very bright. I changed all the bulbs in mine and it was much better.
