Ok, so I cleaned up my engine a bit this afternoon. Didnt get it too wet, only used a sponge, rag, and spray degreaser. Then I tried to start the car and...nothing. It turned over, but no spark and wouldnt start.

So first thing I do is do a search on 914world.com and got one result that described my situation exactly. I followed the recommendations given by the board members, and after drying things out, the car started right up.

This was a little thing, but I just write this to say thank you to everyone who posts on this board. You never know who might search through and find some good info, even years after the fact.
