On most if not all of the rebuilt engines I have looked at, they do not have the oil cooler bracket that holds the end of the stock cooler and bolts to the fan shroud. Is there a good reason for this or is it just sloppy workmanship?? I realize it is remove to hang the A/C compressor on, but why is it left off on stock rebuilds.
Thanks
Peter
The lousy Ford mechanic coudn't figure out where it went!
They lose the brackets.. then they wonder why the oil cooler seals leak "I just replaced them".
No good reason why they leave them off. Sloppy is probably a good answer.
