i just looked at the cookie on my box here
the 914club site sets 2 cookies, one is correct,
the one for the BBS is not. that certainly explains the
problems we're having on MACs and might even explain
some of the cookie-missbehavin for the rest of us.
i don't know where in the code the cookies are actually set/read ...

It can be set in the actual BBS. But.. its been blank now for 2 months.

hmmm, when i delete the 914club cookies and come back to the site it generates 2 new cookies, one for the main site and one explicitly for the BBS, which is the one using the backslashes. soooo, the code must be active somewhere ....

maybe it's in the php settings on the server, cause I couldn't find any backslashes in the bbs-code
