914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Headlight switch from 73 to 74

Posted by: cobra94563 Apr 26 2006, 09:58 AM

I'm was swapping the the head light switch from a 73 to 74, and there is one less terminal on the 74 switch. I guess I have to trace the diagrams mad.gif to figure out what is left out..unless someone happens to know... idea.gif

got a laugh as I looked up the price for the little switch on pelican..it's $433, which is more than I paid for the car!!

not as easy as I hoped, there are several wires left over from the dash panel swap too. stromberg.gif

Porsche "Simplified" the wiring on 74' 914's. You'll also notice the door pin switches are different among many other little things, switches, less wires was there goal.
