914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Fuch's on the way

I've had the 9's for awhile now, just ordered my 7's for the front. Anyone running 7 and 9's? If so what size rubber you using? I need to get the rubber ordered soon. biggrin.gif

My best to all!

Yupp 16", been holding off on the 5 lug conversion until I could find the 7's at a reasonable price. I have everything except new wheel bearings to do the conversion. Soon, very soon (insert evil chuckle) we shall begin. Seriously I'll order the rubber next week and hopefully if the house god's, work god's, and wife don't interfere I'll do the 5 lug conversion in two weeks. The only hole in my plan is my lazy ass cousin who is doing the welding. He's had my teener since X-Mas and hasn't finished patching a couple of holes in the floors yet. In his defence he did have a shoulder reconstructed like 6 weeks ago. BUT IT"S BEEN SINCE FRIGGIN' X-MAS!! mad.gif If I had a welder I'd do it myself. dry.gif

Now to start the hunt for my 3.0....

You running some big flares? I need to find a set of 9's for the back of the Chalon. I am running 15x8's now but have the 16x7's up in the rafters and looking for the 8's or 9's for the rear and then I will go to the 16's. And for sure at least a 245 for the rear.

I am running the 225/50/16 on my 7's 245/45/16 on my 8's I would think that you would want more up front, the 205s look pretty skinny on a flared car.
Just my opinion.

i agree.

i have 7/8 on a narrow body car and am doing the 205 on 7 and 225 on 8.

why not run 8's up front and 9's in rear?

fill out the flare with no spacer smile.gif

i say 225 and 245 on 8's and 9's

I run Fuch 8's and 9's. Tires are 245/45/16 front and 275/45/16 rear (Hoosiers). Car is track only and body is Sheridan standard, not wide body.

I have plenty of time, eventually I will run across and AACox deal of a lifetime. It will most likely be when you are on vacation or locked up in prison where you cant snag the deal beforehand. smile.gif
