So I need to make a mural on a restaurant wall for one of my classes. So question to all of you out there with an opinion. What do you think of this style? Still to photgraphic?

Any comments are greatly apreciated!

Try actually sketching it, photoshop will not do everything for you. I have to do it everyday at work.

Try some cutout filter and a touch of blur with some manual sketching with a tablet. You will have to do some manipulation to get it right.

Mark

Maybe something like this, some action.

The lines need to be sharper. Way to smudged/ wavy to be clean looking.

For example the blue moutain...

Mark shows a good compromize, I think even more smudged would be good still.

If it is supposed to look like a painting, I think it looks good.

I did use my wacom.. It is supposed to be a painting, not me showing off what I know in photoshop. I used to have paint, but lost the serial number which makes me forced to use PS. I didnt use a single filter in mine since they are a bit too cheesy. I used gaussian blur 1px. And increased the saturation a bit.

Does it look like I only used filters?! sad.gif took me 40min anyway. . .
I like the wacom, but sometimes it makes it to real. I was going for a older style painting, the ones you use a thick brush, and oil (kinda)
