So Jake,

Did you guys get the intake rule recinded so you could go with your existing setup???

They gave us back 2mm- up to 36mm is legal now...

Posted by: Twystd1 May 7 2006, 09:13 PM

2mm makes a huge differance in that game.

Jake,

Who else is running your engines this year besides Chris and Tom??

Just want to know so I can follow thier paths.

Clayton

Kevin Groot will be running a 2 liter from Jake in EP soon.
You won't see any race results from me for a while since I've been preoccupied with my shop move.
In the pic that's me, Tom (blue car) and Ed Givler at NHIs last spring.

Way to go, TOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm working my arse off to make this weekend's race at Grattan.

Kevin's engine is coming along well now- after over 2 solid years of effort!

The time has given Len and I the ability to give Kevin more than he expects and also for him to get a bit more used to the 914 and it's engine...

Tom had a shaky season last year with a ton of stupid little things killing him (dead batteries, handling issues, broken throttle cables etc) but looks like over the off season he squared the car away and is really on the ball this year!

Congratulations Tom,

You drove a fine, smooth conservative race. The motor is strong,
and reliable with the fast FP lap of the race.

(Also thanks to Jake & Len for hints that helped us keep our motor together for the whole race.) (We got 3rd in FP, laped by Tom.)

Chris,
Will you or anyone else be running a 914 at Lime Rock on June 10th?
