914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Asymmetric exhaust headers?

Following off on Gustl's note about the Noon 914/6GT, I noticed that the headers
here:

are fairly asymmetric. With nothing in the way of obstructions, I thought tubes on
each side of the motor would have more similar shapes.
