Attached ImageI have been waiting to restore one of my babies for so long. Please don't tell me she's too far gone.

Its just a little rust, right?

I'm sure it could be done, but not cost effectively.

More like there's only a little rust left!!!!!!

Posted by: db9146 May 19 2006, 10:14 AM

Just kidding.....

Last night, I could flex the body at the targa bar by more than 2 inches with just a little bit of pressure. I have never personally seen a 914 this bad.

Always been a parts car. I only bought it because it had a really nice Saratoga top on it years ago and buying the whole car was the only way the guy would sell it. A pretty nice $350 score!!

I love the forest backdrop....Do you usually do work on your teeners in the middle of the woods at night? laugh.gif

Posted by: type47 May 19 2006, 11:09 AM

you problem is that you should have used your 1.5 ton jack! 3.5 tons is WAY TOO MUCH!

Is that hinge in the middle a factory option or an enviromental consequence?

Posted by: JPB May 19 2006, 07:29 PM

BRO, you have the opportunity to gut it, make a tube frame and race the bad boy to victory lane. All ya need is a little imagination!
